This week members of our team took a tour of The Relief Nursery. This is an incredible local organization that provides support for families with children age 0-6 with childcare, meals, clothing, and education. Their sole goal is to keep kids safe from abuse and neglect. It was so much more robust in its services than we had any idea. Our team learned about how the Relief Nursery was started, what services they offer and are currently providing, took a tour of the facilities, and spent time with the kids in their classroom, garden, and “jump room!” We also got treated to homemade pizza, made on site!
This organization was our August recipient of the Giving Gorilla program.
