EUGENE, Ore. — Football season has kicked off. Summer vacation is over. Fall is just a few weeks away as total foreclosures increased during the dog days of August for a second consecutive month in the 24 Oregon counties monitored by Gorilla Capital. EUGENE, Ore. – For the first time in four years the total number of foreclosures filed in the 20 Oregon counties tracked by Gorilla Capital remained flat. Non-judicial (NODS) and judicial (court) foreclosure totals stayed the same in May as the previous month at 656. Overall, foreclosure filings in May and April increased by 13% compared to March. Eighty-three percent of the homes purchased by Gorilla Capital in Oregon during May were vacant or Zombie Homes. …
